Health & Safety Practices

The health and safety of our children and staff is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe environment and communicating openly with families about the measures we have in place.

Existing Health and Safety Practices

We continue to follow our existing stringent health and safety protocols, including:

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Continuous health & safety training for staff, including first aid and CPR certification

Enhanced Health and Safety Practices

Depending on circumstances and guidance from local and state health officials, we may implement additional measures above our standard protocols, including:

  • Limiting building access to enrolled families and current staff only
  • Minimizing interaction between children from different classrooms
  • Health screenings and logs for children and staff
  • Increased frequency of hand washing
  • Increased sanitation of frequently touched surfaces and toys
